Hi Guys

I've been playing TS1 again, to get some pics together for our revamp of Sublime Sims.. Anyway, my Sims decided to adopt a child. Everything was preceeding normally, then the child aged up.

Sweet Jesus, it's the "devil spawn" face.. This is why adoption is such a dicey business. On top of that, she's got NO nice points at all.

It burns!

You know, I liked the furniture in TS1 so much better.

Me too.. actually I think what I miss (which is why I still periodically play TS1) is the doll like feel. Neither TS1 or TS2 have that. They both take themselves too seriously in many ways.

I remember briefly playing TSO, I falling in love with that furniture all over again. At least more of it matched. Maxis rarely give us enough to fill a room with matching items. Look at the steampunk set in the sims store - 5 items. Door, guitar, and a few other things. Not enough to make a cohesive steampunk house, let alone room. I really wish they would make complete sets of stuff. The only times they have made complete sets is in some of the stuff packs, like the Ikea and Glamour packs. But even then I didn't think they were complete enough.

I think at some point, EAxis got lazy.. they figured that if they didn't make it, we'd step in and make it for them. And if they did something in crappily-mismatched colours, we'd fix it. It'll be even worse now, because we CAN fix the colours for stuff but we've got to go through hoops to create bloody patterns.
